Media monitoring across Arabic and English media, read by analysts.
Always-on capture across print, broadcast, online and social media in the GCC and wider region, filtered every day by analysts so that what reaches you is relevant, not merely matched.
What media monitoring covers
We monitor open and publicly accessible sources across every channel that shapes opinion in the region. The aim is complete coverage of what matters to you, without the noise that usually comes with it.

Who it is for
Communication, corporate affairs and media relations teams in government entities, semi-government bodies and large companies who need to know what is being said about them, every day, without reading it all themselves. It is also used by PR and public affairs firms who need dependable Arabic coverage for their clients.
How it works
Scope
We agree the entities, spokespeople, topics, competitors and markets to track, including dialect variants, misspellings and transliterations of every name.
Capture
Crawlers, feeds and broadcast capture collect matching coverage continuously, in Arabic and English.
Filter
Analysts remove false positives and duplicates. Only relevant items advance.
Tag
Each item is tagged by topic, sentiment, outlet tier, platform, language and market.
Deliver
Items flow to your portal in real time, into a daily summary each morning, and into alerts when a threshold is crossed.
What you receive
- A daily intelligence summary, delivered before the working day begins
- Real-time tiered alerts by WhatsApp, email or portal notification
- 24/7 access to every item, with sentiment and tier tags, in the client portal
- Weekly and monthly reports with volume, sentiment, share of voice and key coverage
- Reporting in English, Arabic or both, branded or unbranded
Every item carries human verification and a sentiment score, and every digital outlet is placed in a tier, so a front-page story is never weighed the same as a reposted press release.
What is outside scope
We monitor open and publicly accessible sources. Closed and private messaging networks, such as private WhatsApp or Telegram groups, are outside our collection scope. When a narrative starts there, we identify it at the point it surfaces publicly.

Questions about media monitoring
What is media monitoring?
Media monitoring is the continuous tracking of what is published and said about an organisation, its people and its topics across print, broadcast, online news and social media. At VEER it covers Arabic and English sources across the GCC and the wider region, and every item is verified by an analyst before it reaches the client.
Which platforms does VEER monitor?
VEER monitors X (Twitter), Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn and Snapchat, including Instagram Stories, alongside online news, newspapers, magazines, sector and trade press, blogs and forums, regional television and radio. Coverage is limited to open and publicly accessible sources; private messaging groups are outside scope.
Does VEER monitor Arabic dialects?
Yes. Tracking frameworks include Modern Standard Arabic plus Gulf, Levantine, Egyptian and Maghrebi dialect variants, common misspellings and transliterations of every tracked name. Native Arabic analysts review the results, which is why relevance accuracy is validated at 97% or better.
How quickly will I hear about something important?
Critical developments are escalated within minutes by phone and message to a named contact. VEER commits to delivering 95% of breaking alerts within 20 minutes. Less urgent items are batched into the daily summary so they do not interrupt anyone.
Can I search past coverage?
Yes. Every monitored item is stored in the secure client portal, which is available 24/7 with 99% or better uptime. Clients can search, filter and export coverage by date, outlet, platform, language, sentiment and topic. The amount of history captured at the start is agreed during onboarding.
